PBX Operator Rose Medical Center



The position would serve to assist PBX and Information Desk at Rose Medical Center - ideal person will have excellent customer service and must love phone work. Hours will vary according to need.





I. The PBX Operator is responsible for the communications/switchboard operation within the facility. The position ensures courteous telephone service and respect to all customers. The PBX Operator demonstrates the ability to handle stressful situations with good judgement in reference to customer concerns. The position maintains confidentiality of information. The Operator has knowledge of all emergency procedures required by the Communication department.





II. Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None



B. Education: High School or GED





C. Experience:





D. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of hospital operations and switchboard use. Excellent customer service skills. Able to maintain confidentiality. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
