Qualifications: Current CA RN license and AHA BLS Certification. One (1)-year recent (within the last three (3) years) full-time equivalent experience in an acute care setting. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, venipuncture, ABG, EKG, Basic arrhythmia interpretation and will assist in emergencies. ACLS certification (must successfully complete within six months of start date), must be willing to be trained to utilize PC's, effective communication skills, will work in a collaborative labor-management environment, that results in a high performance work team.
Notes: If twelve (12) hour option chosen, shift will be 7:00 pm-7:30 am, back up 8 hour shift will be 3:00 pm-11:30 pm. Rotating weekends.
