Phlebotomist
Job Description
Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Valid Phlebotomist Certification. A valid certification is defined as: 1) One issued under the New California State Phlebotomy Technician I and II Certification Law. 2) Certification signed by a licensed physician (or other qualified person) issued before April 9th, 2003 Additionally, candidates who meet criteria #2 must be eligible to obtain the new California State Phlebotomy Technician I and II Certification by April 9th, 2006. Six (6) months acute phlebotomy experience or one (1) year as a medical assistant performing venipuncture or one year outpatient lab experience or completion of a five (5) month student phlebotomy training preceptor program through Kaiser Permanente. Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.Preferred Qualifications: Six (6) months recent acute care experience.
Notes: This is an On-Call position working am hours in Riverside and oc in the afternoon. M-Sun. Rotating Weekends.
